This seaside garden was instigated by Cei Dev, a community association organising a variety of projects in the locality. They raised money from many different funding bodies to make a low maintenance garden for community use. It was built in conjunction with voluntary helpers from New Quay youth club and Cei Dev staff. It has an easy path for wheel chairs and is accessible through a recycled gate from a large car park. A safe and fun solar fountain, a long dry-stone wall, hurdles, and an abundant mixture of exotic and cottage plants, (fig, tree fern and Aloe striatula) thriving in the mild climate complete the design. |
