The Same Street as Us, Fulham, London SW6

These photographs are accompanied by a narrative text inspired by conversations with most of the people who lived in the same West London street as us in 1983.

By simply knocking on all the doors we discovered what a variety of ages, nationalities and social groups existed in just one small street.

This project won the Greater London Council Photography Competition of that year, was exhibited at the Royal Festival Hall and subsequently toured the country.
